Teeth whitening

Healthy, nice and white teeth always look attractive and give self-confidence.

With age, teeth start to gain darker shades. Consumption of tea and coffee, as well as smoking are the contributing factors; therefore, it is understandable that people want to whiten their teeth. There are two ways to do this:

  1. At a dentist's office (office whitening)
  2. At home

To whiten your teeth, you must first come to the dentist. The dentist will examine your teeth, evaluate the enamel condition and will provide the conclusion if whitening may be performed in general. Before the whitening procedure, teeth must be fully treated; oral hygiene procedure must be completed.

At a dentist's office (office whitening)

Teeth whitening is performed with extremely effective materials, therefore the result is more visible and faster. However, teeth can be very sensitive after the procedure; there is a chance of pain that may last for several days or even weeks.

At home

We recommend that patients would use customized trays for whitening teeth at home, since this is the least invasive way. Agents used for home whitening in our clinic are recognized by ADA (American Dental Association), as well they meet the requirements for medical substances by the European Union, bearing the CE mark. We offer using the Opalescence (Ultradent) gel syringes, which can be 10% and 16% of strength.

Steps for whitening teeth at home: dental impressions will be taken in the dental clinic and customized whitening trays will be produced. Before providing you with a customized trays and whitening gel syringe, the doctor will explain how to use it and will make a whitening frequency plan. The result will soon be visible, and you will be able to enjoy a beautiful white smile.
